What information we collect and why
Enquiry and quote forms
When you submit a contact form, callback request or use our instant estimate calculator, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, phone number, email address, and details about your fencing project.
We use this to respond to your enquiry and, if you proceed, to carry out the work you’ve asked about.
Legal basis: Legitimate interests (responding to a business enquiry) and, where a job goes ahead, performance of a contract.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our website — which pages are viewed, how people navigate the site, and broadly where visitors come from. This data is aggregated and anonymised; we cannot identify individual visitors through it.
Analytics only runs if you accept cookies when visiting the site. If you decline, no analytics data is collected.

Anti-spam protection
Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to prevent automated spam submissions. This involves Google processing certain technical information from your browser to determine whether you’re a human. This is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.

How we use your information
We use the information you give us to:
- Respond to your enquiry or quote request
- Arrange and carry out fencing work

Who we share your information with
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for their own commercial purposes.
The only parties who may handle your data are:
- Google — as a technology provider for email (Google Workspace), website analytics (Google Analytics 4), and anti-spam (reCAPTCHA). Google acts as a data processor on our behalf and is bound by its own data processing terms.
- Krystal Hosting — our website host. Your data passes through their servers as part of normal website operation.
Neither party receives your data for their own marketing or commercial use.
How long we keep your information
Enquiry and job-related emails are kept for as long as is reasonably necessary for business and legal record-keeping purposes — typically up to six years in line with standard UK business practice. If a job does not proceed, we will not retain your details beyond what is needed to close the enquiry.
Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for 14 months.
