Home Residential Fencing

Residential fencing across Berkshire, Surrey, Oxfordshire & Hampshire

Most garden fences fail at the posts, not the boards. We set every post properly, the right depth, the right concrete, checked for plumb, so the fence you pay for once keeps standing through Berkshire winters and Surrey storms. Whether it’s a single boundary run in Reading, a full garden enclosure in Guildford, or post and rail through a Farnham property, the work is done by us, not subbed out.

Fence types we install

Closeboard Fencing

The strongest, most private garden fence. Featheredge boards nailed individually onto arris rails, built on site, not dropped in as panels. The go-to boundary fence across Reading, Wokingham and Bracknell.

Best for: privacy · longevity · boundary runs

Fence Panels

Featherboard or lap panels in concrete or timber posts, a solid, tidy boundary at a friendlier price. Fast to install with a clean finish. Popular choice for rear gardens across Guildford, Farnham and Windsor.

Picket & Front Garden Fencing

Open, characterful fencing for front gardens and low boundaries. Marks the line without closing off the street, keeps the kerb appeal. Heights from 0.6m to 1.2m, timber posts or concrete.

Residential fencing - your questions answered

How much does residential fencing cost per metre?

Most residential fencing falls between £80 and £150 per metre installed, depending on the style, height and post type you choose. Closeboard on concrete or DuraPost posts sits at the top of that range; picket and lap panels at the lower end. The fastest way to get a real figure for your garden is our free instant estimate, it gives you a costed range in under a minute.

DuraPost is a galvanised steel post system that won’t rot, warp or snap, and it carries a long manufacturer guarantee. Timber posts are the cheapest up front but fail first, almost always at the ground line. Concrete is durable but heavy and rigid. As a DuraPost Approved Installer we’ll talk you through which makes sense for your fence and budget rather than pushing one option.

A typical residential job, a single boundary or a back garden, is usually two to three days once we’re on site. Larger or multi-boundary jobs take longer, and we’ll give you a clear timescale with your estimate so there are no surprises.

We install residential and garden fencing across Berkshire, Surrey, Oxfordshire and parts of Hampshire, including Reading, Wokingham, Bracknell, Maidenhead, Guildford, Woking and Farnham. If you’re near those areas, ask, we travel for the right job.

Yes. We take down and remove your old fence, and as a registered waste carrier we dispose of it legally, no skip on your drive and nothing left in your garden. The job isn’t finished until the site is cleared.
